In topic Giraffes class have had a terrifying experience as a dragon was caught on cctv landing in the playground. Click here to see! It was reported there had been several nationwide sightings of this vicious reptile and we are currently trying to investigate the reason for its suspicious movements. More to come..
Our science learning is closely linked with the Dragon Investigation as we are learning about living things and their habitats. So far we have classified and sorted living things and we are now identifying vertebrates and invertebrates in the animal kingdom. We are learning more about where these creatures live and this might give us more of an insight into what makes a Dragon’s habitat.
In our Literacy lessons we have been getting our teeth stuck into I was a Rat by Phillip Pullman. Year 4 are really engaged with this text and we have used lots of drama and role play to empathise more with the characters. This book allows for us to look at the world through another creature’s eyes and understand more about different perspectives.
And here are photos from our amazing experience at Science Museum:
Dear Parents / Carers, on Tuesday 21st November Giraffes will be going on a trip to the Science Museum.
